common questions

i forgot my PIN. on the PIN screen, tap “forgot pin” and enter your buddy code. if you don’t have your buddy code, email me from the address above with your first name and the access code you signed up with.

my data isn’t syncing. buddy syncs automatically over wifi or cell. if you’ve been offline, open the app and wait 5–10 seconds for the sync to complete. if it still isn’t syncing, email me with your buddy code and i’ll check the server side.

i want to delete my account. open buddy → settings → scroll to the bottom → tap “erase everything.” this removes your data from your device and from the buddy server. if you can’t access the app, email me and i’ll delete your data manually.

buddy AI isn’t responding. the AI feature uses a daily quota to keep costs predictable. if you’ve hit the quota for the day, it resets at midnight your time. if you’re seeing errors before then, email me.

how do i export my data? open buddy → settings → tap “export data.” you can export to CSV or JSON. your data is always yours.
